Ladies of the Internet

Now that our explodorific fringe show is done, the blog has hit an awkward transition period in which we stop bitching about being overloaded and get back to the relevant zombie/band stuff you also don't give a shit about actually enjoy reading (in theory).  But I'd like to take this final awkward moment as an opportunity to post something random that I love.

Delany Elise.

A friend recently turned me on to her youtube, and I give her my official vote of confidence.  I admit - I wasn't sure at first.  It's the kind of humor where you spend the first half of a video arguing with a co-watcher over whether or not she's for serious.  And then, somewhere between reading her lyrics and realizing Von Deleo is her dad, it hits you.

It does not matter.  This is just smart.

I highly recommend following this with "Baby Hurricane" or "You Pull Me."  The humor is subtle; it's not for everyone.  But I mean, come on!  Floating guitars!  Me pull you!  Those dances!  THE CRY-O-MATIC!  This is truly a level of serious humor I could only aspire to achieve.

Love,
Brian Reignbow

PS - She kinda reminds of this bitch:

I recommend following that one with "Invisible Girl" (Spoiler! It has nothing to do with being invisible) or "Wrestler" - a tribute to Triple H (Spoiler! Her tit falls out).

PPS - "Real" posts to come!  This weekend we'll be reviewing Romero's most recent work, Survival of the Dead.  Which maaaaaybe won't suck...
