Things That Keep Me Happy

Things have been disconcertingly stressful lately, especially considering the images of humid leisure I had anticipated for this summer.  The following list, however, is keeping me buoyant.

1. Josh Cooley's blog, and his collection of Movies R Fun drawings.  Mixing childhood aesthetics with cynicism and violence?  That's right up my alley of dreams, mister.  I posted some of my favorites, but you can find all of them here, and soon there will be a forreal-forreal book of them.  It's also nice to know that Pixar isn't just filled with kid-loving saps.  Or sneaky conniving money-pants.
2. RuPaul's Drag U - As soon as I get out of my god awful summer class, the real summer session begins!!  I can't even tell you how much I miss Misses Tammie Brown, Ongina, and (of course) NINA FLOWERS.  I'm ready to be learned!
3. Memorial Day Photo Shoot!  This Monday we're headin' down to Rainbeaux's creepy basement to deliver some undead realness for the Fringe guide photo and some press pics.  Without giving too much away, I will tell you that a certain special unicorn will be joining us for the first time, thanks to Baum's Dance Supply, Crayola Model Magic, and some ghetto ass weave.  If that combination doesn't get your panties wet, well, you're just in denial.
